Premier Wiring Harness integration & Customization manufacturing
TRUSTED BY 500+ WORLDWIDE BRANDS OVER OUR 20-YEAR JOURNEY
In an ordinary factory building in Bao’an, Shenzhen, our fully automatic wire cutting and crimping machines are operating at a speed of 120 pieces per minute. Beside them, quality engineers are spot-checking a batch of just-produced internal robot wiring harnesses with a video measuring instrument. These harnesses will be sent to Pudu Robotics’ assembly workshop in Dongguan, and eventually become the “neural network” of commercial service robots such as “D7”, “D9” and “Bella”.

This is our daily work. No spotlights, no press conferences, and few people even know that for a robot that shuttles freely in restaurants, hospitals and airports every day, if any one of its hundreds of internal wiring harnesses has poor contact, it may lead to complete machine paralysis, signal interruption or even safety accidents.
We are a wire harness processing and customization factory, an “invisible” enterprise in the robot industry chain. But it is this unremarkable link that determines whether robots can operate stably, be delivered in batches, and win the trust of end users.Over the past 10 years, we have successively become the wiring harness supplier for leading domestic robot brands such as Pudu, Keenon, Zerith, and YOUIBOT.

Many people ask: What is your competitiveness? Lower prices? Larger production capacity? Or better connections? None of these are the answer. What really keeps us rooted in the market is the word “stability”. A stable supplier can provide customers with a series of “irreplaceable” services. Today, based on our real experience in the service robot industry, Shenzhen Yuzhan Electronics will break down these five irreplaceable values.
In 2022, during the lockdown of the COVID-19 epidemic in Shanghai, the national supply chain was almost broken. A leading customer of ours had its delivery robots widely used for material delivery in mobile cabin hospitals. If the supply of wiring harnesses was cut off, the robots could not roll off the production line, and the anti-epidemic frontline would lose a batch of “zero-contact” workers.
At that time, we also faced the dilemma of shortage of upstream connectors and most employees being locked down at home. However, because we maintain a safety stock of more than 3 months for mainstream connector models (such as Molex, JST, TE) all year round, and have established a multi-regional secondary supplier backup mechanism, we urgently delivered 13,000 sets of custom wiring harnesses to customers within three weeks – no price increase, no large-scale delay.

The customer’s procurement director later recalled: “At that time, some suppliers raised prices by 5 times on the spot, and some suppliers lost contact directly. You are one of the few that we can completely trust.”How is this “sense of security” developed?
For robot companies like Pudu and Keenon, a robot has nearly a thousand internal wiring harnesses. If each has to be spot-checked, the quality inspection manpower alone will increase by more than a dozen people. Our “inspection-free trust” saves them more than millions of yuan in quality inspection and management costs every year.
| A stable supplier does not mean “never having problems”, but “when problems occur, you are the last one to be cut off from supply”. |
Many customers will ask at the beginning: “Why are your quotes 8%~15% higher than others?” We will show them a “total cost account”.
Take Pudu’s food delivery robot “Happy Delivery 2.0” as an example. There is a set of power wiring harnesses inside its chassis, which need to transmit 48V10A current and CAN bus signals at the same time. The original design adopted double shielding + independent grounding, and the cost of a single wiring harness exceeded 25 yuan.
During the iteration process, Yuzhan Electronics co-created an optimization plan with the customer’s engineering department: we combined the shielding layer and the grounding wire into one, used a common mode choke coil to replace part of the shielding, and changed the connector from tin plating to local gold plating. Finally, the cost of a single piece was reduced to 15 yuan, a drop of 34%, while the signal anti-interference ability increased by 20%.

Why can we make this optimization? Because we are too familiar with their designs. After 8 years of cooperation, our engineer team can even recite the electrical schematics of their three generations of products.
The “hidden cost reduction” brought by stable suppliers goes far beyond this:
| Cost Item | New Supplier Model | Stable Supplier Model |
| Procurement Sourcing Cost | Inquiry, price comparison, factory audit every time | Annual framework agreement, no repetition required |
| Quality Handling Cost | Incoming inspection, online return, claim negotiation | Inspection-free pass, abnormal rate <0.01% |
| Delivery Management Cost | Daily order urging, order follow-up, logistics coordination | Automatic replenishment, VMI management |
| Technical Communication Cost | Repeated drawing confirmation, multiple sample making | Engineers directly intervene in the design stage |
We provide “proactive cost optimization” for customers: every Q4, we will actively submit anAnnual Cost Reduction Proposal, putting forward 3-5 cost reduction suggestions from three dimensions: material substitution, process improvement, and integrated design. In 2024, we achieved a comprehensive cost reduction of 12.7% for the wiring harness system of Keenon’s T5 delivery robot.
| Only looking at unit price is the introductory course for procurement, while understanding total cost is the real skill of supply chain management. |
The robot industry iterates extremely fast. When Pudu was developing the “Bella” large-screen robot, it encountered a tricky problem: after 100,000 consecutive rotations, the insulation layer of the wiring harness in the rotating pan/tilt wore out, leading to signal interruption. Multiple wiring harness suppliers of the customer either failed to cooperate properly, or simply said bluntly: This is a design problem, not our problem.
After receiving the demand, through professional analysis and multiple verifications by the engineering project team, we finally did three things:
It only took 14 days from receiving the demand to providing mass-producible samples. Pudu’s hardware director later said at the annual supplier meeting: “Co-creation leads to win-win results. Shenzhen Yuzhan Electronics interprets what the added value of factory brands in the Industry 4.0 era is.”
What is the role of stable suppliers in innovation?
This “partnership beyond trading” is simply unavailable to any new supplier with short-term cooperation or low-price bids.

| A stable supplier is your “second R&D department”, not a simple processing workshop that only makes products according to drawings. |
In the first half of 2023, a robot customer encountered financing delay and extremely tight capital chain, and proposed to extend the payment term from 45 days to 90 days. According to risk control standards, this is a high-risk signal.
But based on years of long-term cooperation, we know them well: their products are competitive, their orders are real, and they just missed the capital rhythm. Finally, we agreed to extend the payment term to 120 days, and at the same time actively changed some materials from “customer-provided” to “we stock”, helping them release about 1.8 million yuan of inventory funds.
Five months later, they received new financing, settled all payments immediately, and gave us the exclusive supply right of wiring harnesses for subsequent new models. What is this flexible support based on?

| A true partnership is not toasting in good times, but supporting each other in bad times. |
Robots eventually serve food in restaurants, deliver medicine in hospitals, and guide the way in hotels. End users will never know the name of the wiring harness supplier, but their experience is closely related to us.
In 2024, a batch of robots exported to Türkiye by a customer had occasional signal loss due to connector batch problems. Although it was finally confirmed that the problem was with the connector manufacturer (not the wiring harness processing link), we still took the initiative to send engineers to assist the customer in completing the inspection and maintenance of 240 machines on site in a week.
Why do we do this? Because the boundary of a stable supplier is not the contract, but “not letting the customer be left helpless”.

| Half of your brand reputation is hidden in places that users can’t see – such as those reliable wiring harnesses. |
Back to the original question: How can a wiring harness processing and customization factory become a long-term supplier of leading robot brands like Pudu and Keenon ?
It is not price, not relationship, or even technology itself – but the irreplaceability brought by stability.
What we provide is:
The robot industry is undergoing a transition from “usable” to “easy to use”, and from “product” to “service”. As a part of the supply chain, we know very well that only stable suppliers can make stable products; only stable products can win the trust of end users.
If you are looking for a wiring harness customization factory that truly engraves “stability” into its genes, if you are tired of re-running-in and re-paying the cost every time you change a supplier, you might as well come to us.

| We don’t promise the lowest price, but we promise: We will always be there when you need us most. |
*All cases in this article are based on real cooperation experiences, and some data have been desensitized. We believe that the dignity of the manufacturing industry comes from the stable delivery of “doing what we say”, rather than flashy marketing. Thanks to Pudu and Keenon for their trust and encouragement over the years, which have made us a better supplier.
